- How the web works & setting up your code editor (VS Code)
- Document structure — doctype, head & body
- Headings, paragraphs, lists, links & images
- Semantic tags — header, nav, section, article, footer
- Forms & input types — text, email, checkbox, radio, button
- Selectors, colours, fonts & the box model
- Flexbox — building rows, columns & navigation bars
- CSS Grid — building full page layouts
- Responsive design with media queries (mobile, tablet, desktop)
- Buttons, cards, hover states & transitions
- Planning the pages of an online store — home, product listing, product details, cart
- Building the homepage & navigation using the HTML & CSS from Modules 1–2
- Designing the product grid and category sections
- Styling the cart & checkout pages
- Making the entire store fully responsive on mobile
- What Git is and why every developer uses it
- Creating a GitHub account & your first repository
- git init, add, commit & push
- Writing good commit messages
- Uploading the e-commerce project to GitHub as a live portfolio piece
- Variables, data types & operators
- Functions, conditionals & loops
- Arrays & objects — storing and working with real data
- DOM selection & manipulation
- Events — clicks, form submissions & keyboard input
- Storing product data as JavaScript objects inside an array (name, price, image, description)
- Dynamically rendering the product section from that array instead of hardcoding it
- Building "Add to Cart" functionality with JavaScript
- Designing and building your own personal portfolio website to showcase both projects
- Introduction to AI coding assistants (ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot)
- Using AI to generate starter code, explain errors & speed up repetitive tasks
- Debugging and improving AI-generated code
- Using AI responsibly — why understanding the fundamentals still matters
- Understanding domains & web hosting
- Uploading a website to a live server
- Deploying with modern platforms (Netlify/Vercel)
- Testing and fixing issues after going live
- Practical project defense — presenting your e-commerce site & portfolio
- Written assessment on HTML, CSS & JavaScript concepts
- Feedback and code review from instructors
- Award of IMT Computers certificate of completion
Your Certificate
Finish HTML, CSS & JavaScript (12 Weeks) and you receive an IMT Computers certificate with your name and this course on it, and you leave with an e-commerce website and a personal portfolio to show beside it.
- Its own web link. Send it to an employer or client. They can view the certificate there, and download the PDF once you have agreed to show your name.
- A QR code to scan. It opens the page that confirms IMT Computers issued the certificate. Anyone can also check the Certificate ID on the Verify a Certificate page.
- It does not expire. The certificate stays valid unless IMT Computers revokes it.
- Help with LinkedIn. After the training, your lecturer helps you create your LinkedIn account if you do not have one, and add the certificate to your profile so recruiters can see it. How it works

How long is the HTML, CSS & JavaScript course?
The HTML, CSS & JavaScript course runs for 12 weeks (about 3 months). Classes are held in our classroom in Ikeja, Lagos, or live online, and it ends with a certificate that anyone can verify online.
How much does the course cost?
