Check a Certificate ID
Where to find the Certificate ID
The Certificate ID is printed at the bottom left of every IMT Computers certificate, beside a QR code. It looks like IMT-ABC-2026-00001-X7K: IMT, a short code for the program, the year of issue, a sequence number and a short check code. Scanning the QR code opens the certificate's own verification page directly.
What each result means
| Result | What it means |
|---|---|
| Valid | IMT Computers issued this certificate and it has not been revoked. Certificates do not expire. |
| Revoked | IMT Computers withdrew this certificate. It is no longer proof of completion. |
| Not found | No certificate with that ID exists in IMT Computers' records, or the ID was typed incorrectly. |
Questions from employers and institutions
- Will a valid result show the holder's name?
- Only if the holder has chosen to show their name publicly. Otherwise the result confirms the program and issue month without naming the person, so check the ID against the certificate you were given.
- Does this check FOA certifications?
- No. This page verifies certificates issued by IMT Computers for its own training programs. FOA certifications such as CFOT are issued by the Fiber Optic Association and are verified with the FOA. Read about FOA certification training at IMT Computers.
- What if the details don't match the certificate I was given?
- Treat the certificate as unverified and contact IMT Computers with the Certificate ID.
