What's the difference between back-end and front-end development?
Back-end is the server and database logic that powers an application behind the scenes — PHP, SQL and Laravel. Front-end is the interface users actually see and interact with.
How long does it take to learn PHP and Laravel?
PHP & SQL is 12 weeks and Laravel Development is 12 weeks. If you are starting from nothing, PHP, Laravel & SQL covers the whole path in one 16-week course.
Do I need to know PHP before learning Laravel?
Yes. Laravel is a PHP framework, so you need PHP basics first. Laravel Development is written for students who already know basic PHP. If you do not, start with PHP & SQL, or take PHP, Laravel & SQL as one path.
Where are the back-end classes held, and can I join online?
Classes are held in our classroom in Ikeja, Lagos (2 Simbiat Abiola Way, opposite Slot, Ikeja, Lagos), and every course can also be taken live online. Each course ends with a certificate that anyone can verify online.
Which back-end course should I start with?
PHP & SQL if you're new to server-side development. Already know PHP? Move straight to Laravel Development.
